I was told by my grandfather that if you are destined to hang you'll never drown. I have never been afraid of water . . .

  1. I love old barns, covered bridges too. But I don’t know of any around here. Only one I know of is in Elizabethton, TN. Covered bridges seem to be a New England thing. But when it comes to old barns, we are covered.

    • Old barns have character, Ms Sheila, and I’ve just about got enough for a book documenting these in the County. Putting it together should help pass the time during the Winter when I am snowed or frozen inside. Thanks for commenting.

  2. They do look very relaxed, almost almost as though they may be catching up with each others’ news.

  8. Great photo. Curious how do you decide when to go with a black and white photo versus color. I am at times torn.

    • Most of the choices are from experience and the photograph itself, Ms Gina. You get a feel of what changes a photograph into one that stands on its own without dependence on color. The same goes for sepia tone. Thanks for commenting.
