  1. I guess that is the leaves that are so bright. Looks almost like a crabapple in spring. What sort of shrub is it? Maybe what we call a burning bush, but I believe they are more red-orange. (I don’t know why I have this need to identify everything.)

    • Things are getting rather bleak around here, Ms gina, and a touch of color really stands out.Unfortunately, it is coming to the time of the year that everything taken B&W or color looks much like the depression photographs. Thank you for your kind and generous comment.
