I was told by my grandfather that if you are destined to hang you'll never drown. I have never been afraid of water . . .

  1. Another great photo, G! I imagine the benches out front are popular… I also like the theater’s marquee sign.

    • Yes indeed Ms Danica. The benches also help with the overflow from inside waiting for tables. This is a very popular diner; more-so since it went smokeless. Thanks for your insightful comment.

  2. I could live here, G. It looks exactly my speed. Well, one question: Is the internet connection great?

    • Ms Jacqui, Cable or Sat Dish internet it’s a choice as anything … by price. I am on Sat Dish which goes out when it rains hard. I like the small town life. Once a year I go to the big city about two hours away for a VA appointment. No further desire to re-enter the rat race. I have done the time and can live without the shiny bobbles and hectic pace of civilization. Thanks for your kind and generous comment. g

  3. It’s so flat. Living in San Francisco that was my first thought. It also looks human sized which is nice.

  4. I liked the diner and the theatre, with the old-fashioned marquee sign. Our local theatre is 150 years old and started as a company before it became a movie theatre. I cannot imagine it any other way, though. Nicely displayed and so much fun!

    • Thank you for your kind comment, Ms reo. Our theatre is supported the county and by a wonderful local actor’s group which includes Children’s Theatre productions. We also support local musical groups. It is a wonderful place to be. We are also fortunate that the theatre season is all year log.

  5. Still life, for a minute 🙂
