I was told by my grandfather that if you are destined to hang you'll never drown. I have never been afraid of water . . .

  2. Fortunately Ms Shelly, this photograph was taken the night before a cold front came roaring into town. Right now it is 25 degrees outside and colder tonight. This series of photographs has gone from hot and humid to at the end of the photo shoot my fingers were numb along with my feet and legs. Thanks for your comment. g

  3. Oh John, I never knew your photography could get more amazing than it already was…but wow. I’m speechless. Your talent in getting the light just right after reflecting off all that aluminum….I’m in awe and humbled!!

  4. Thank you Ms Lindsey … you are very kind and generous. As it gets walled and closed in … the light probably won’t be as spectacular. But, it will be interesting within itself. g

  5. Great picture of the library! I hope you will have a poetry night there and share your poems. I think it is a good idea.

  8. John – a poetry reading by you in the new building is a FANTASTIC idea! Let’s absolutely do that once we are open!

    • Ms Lindsey …. What? … I think a poetry reading by the young high school scholars and future artist of the county would be much better. I get too emotional reading my own stuff because it hits so close to home. Someone like Ms Glenda reading my stuff is a much better idea. g
