After forty years of continued use, I no longer have to wear glasses. And, I can focus my cameras along with being able to do post production work on digital images and write my poetry using my fountain pen-index card method. Freedom. My cataract surgeries were successful beyond my wildest expectations.

I was told by my grandfather that if you are destined to hang you'll never drown. I have never been afraid of water . . .

  6. Really good news. I’ve heard pretty much everyone ends up with cataracts if they live long enough (like us). Glad to hear a good story.

    • Thank you Ms Jacqui … getting used to not wearing my glasses but every once in a while I’ll reach for them. It is hard to believe. I am reading the small print on this laptop without help. It is a blessing. g

    • I am doing well Ms Shelley. Happy as a puppy with two tails and long Summer days spent under a wide branched Oak tree. I am carrying the camera with me in my vehicular travels and have extended my photographic inquiries to even areas outside the borders of Russell County. Thank you for your kind and generous comment. g
