The Old Guy … Armchair Dinner …

Armchair Dinners I have when there are plenty of leftovers and I just don’t feel like cooking. For this dinner, I had Petite Red Potatoes that had been slowly boiled with a whole Sweet Onion. They were quartered, salt & peppered and then roasted in a small toaster oven. The potatoes were buttered when plated. The Onion was added to the roasting pan as a garnish for the crockpot cooked Pork Tenderloin. The Pork was cooked in luxurious brown gravy for eight hours.

The frozen green peas were put in a small skillet with butter. When the butter got up to temperature, I added the leftover rice and worked the mixture until the peas were done but not overdone. All in all, a very good dinner for relaxing, fending off the cats and watching the tube from the comfort of my favorite chair.

I was told by my grandfather that if you are destined to hang you'll never drown. I have never been afraid of water . . .
