Very interesting to see these different birds gathered here even if only for a few minutes. They seem to be better able to overcome differences of size and color that humans . Sorry that seems like a bit of a political statement at the moment. It is a wonderful photo.

Love this trio! I see woodpeckers once a year, not in Ireland. Fifty years ago it was an ordinary bird, seen and heard often.

It is a magnificent bird along with the Redheaded Woodpecker (very noisy) that stops here for Sunflower Seeds. Nature puts on quite a show for us. g
