  3. Hi, I have nominated you for The Creative Blogger Award ! I bet you are quivering in excitement… or perhaps you might be hitting your head against a wall repeating the phrase “Not another award, not another award!” You don’t have to accept this award, but I would love for you to pop over to my blog and come celebrate! There will be imaginary champagne, disco balls and a drumming cat! What more could one want? Hehe.

    • I have enjoyed reading your posts and look forward to enjoying many, many more. Yeah … crossing the bridge … I get dizzy being as tall as I am. There’s just no looking down in that type of situation. Hope you like my photographs. I haven’t written much since my Sweetheart passed away. But, later this year I hope to be back with a new stride and a new direction. Peace be with you today.

    • Thank you so much Mr B … I’ll try to put up more stuff you will enjoy. If you don’t mind, which series do you like. I am doing three … the birds, russell county and columns?

      • I definitely enjoy the Russell County series most of all. If you have the time and you don’t mind my saying so, pop on by my blog and let me know if any of my recent stuff catches your eye.

    • You are welcome. You live in a wonderful place that should support your poetry and photography. I have a good friend that lives in Seattle and a friend in England that has family in Vancouver.

    • Thank you Ms Shirley. We did leave here for a 16 year job in Fredericksburg, Virginia … so I am well versed in Richmond. We were there (right down the street) when the Washington Sniper shot the lady in the parking lot of the hobby/flower store. I’ve been back home for eight years. You’re writing really made me think way back in the memories. I’ll have to address that this Winter while I get snowed in for weeks on end. Thanks for the inspiration. Since my Sweetheart passed, I’ve been rather rudderless in my writing,

  12. I love your black and white photos – they seem more realistic than color – sorry to hear that your sweetheart passed away – I found that an artistic interest helps to deal with this new situation – look forward to photos coming from you

    • Thank you for your kind and generous comment. I try to put up a color and a B&W photo every week and mix in an article here and there. I’ve had a long dry writing spell since my wife of 29 years passed away. Just started to working on some things. I have two more photo books to finish but had saved them for a harsh Winter when I am cold and snowed inside. So far it’s all mild and I don’t like to work on the books and waste such wonderfully unseasonably days. g
